Before I was a matchmaker, I was a wedding planner. I produced high end destination and celebrity weddings, the kind of celebrations that graced the pages of Martha Stewart Weddings and Vogue. What I loved most wasn’t the design, it was watching couples learn about each other through the process. I had a front row seat to their values, their communication, their tensions, and their tenderness. That’s where the spark started. I was witnessing relationships being built in real time.
Later, I founded a coworking and event space in Laguna Beach. Housed in a 1940s cottage, it became a creative hub for entrepreneurs, artists, founders, and investors, a mix of visionaries, real estate pros, engineers, and big idea people. Some were launching something new, others were reinventing themselves. They didn’t always know what they were looking for, but they were craving connection.
